Green Evolution

To map the best practices in climate change mitigation and the response of Indian companies to this challenge,The Financial Express and Emergent Ventures India (an advisory firm on climate change) with knowledge partner,the Indian School of Business,issued the second annual report at the FE-EVI Green Business Awards function on June 5. Minister for new and renewable energy Farooq Abdullah released the survey and gave out the Green Business Leadership Awards 2009-10 to companies that have taken meaningful steps towards carbon emission cuts. The chief of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change,R K Pachauri,was the guest of honour at the event which also brought together the chiefs of leading public and private sector companies who have become the thought leaders for the cause of environment.
