It seems there was everything but fashion at the unveiling of new collections by Preeti Chandra of GFO,Priyali Chopra,Aditi Wasan,Mumbai-based Nandita Mahtani at Delhi’s Samsaara boutique on Friday. While Chandra’s vivid colour palette and the strikingly graphic designs were visually appealing,Mahtani’s Indo western tunics and kurtas in greens,blues and pinks were not as exceptional as the nattily dressed designer. “This is the first time I am showing with Samsaara in Delhi,” said Mahtani as she posed for the shutterbugs. Meanwhile,36-year-old Wasan’s collection of biker chic leather jackets with pointed shoulders earned a few appreciative nods from socialites Sandeep Jajodia and Tanisha Mohan who showed up briefly.
