An under-secretary posted with the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) has lodged a complaint with the cyber cell of Delhi Police’s Economic Offence Wing (EOW) against a man for allegedly running fake website on the name of the MHRD.

Interestingly, after visiting the alleged fake website, the complainant Arnab Dhaki has found the same official phone number along with the pictures of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and HRD Minister Smriti Irani, police source said.

”He again started using the phone number, but he noticed after a few days that a number of people were calling him every day and complaining about some autonomous body named “Board of Occupational Soft Skills and Technical Training (BOOSSTT)” claiming that it was an autonomous body with the MHRD Mission of Technical Education,” police sources added.

Dhaki also stated in his complaint that many callers had given reference of one Dr Karthickeyan K and informed him about his fake website which was running in the name of MHRD. “Dr Karthickeyan K was said to be the director of BOOSSTT. Many callers told Dhaki that they were duped by the so-called Dr Karthickeyan K on the pretext of starting some project with the MHRD,” police sources said
The added that the alleged Dr Karthickeyan K had given an advertisement on the internet, where he asked people if they were interested in working on government projects.
