The Municipal Corporation of Delhi on Friday said mosquito breeding has been detected in some hospitals,office complexes and campuses of paramilitary forces and asked all establishments to take preventive measures against it.

Mosquitoes found breeding in hospitals

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi on Friday said mosquito breeding has been detected in some hospitals,office complexes and campuses of paramilitary forces and asked all establishments to take preventive measures against it. Municipal Commissioner K S Mehra said detection of breeding is a matter of “serious concern”,especially in view of the Commonwealth Games to be held in Delhi in October. Mehra requested all heads of department of government or autonomous offices,educational institutions and market associations to take various measures “seriously” to check mosquito breeding. He said failure to take preventive measures would attract prosecution.
