Special highlights

* Revenue generated through increase in Value added Taxes to rise by Rs 1,000 crore. This totals to Rs 12,000 crore,which will constitute 77 per cent of funds generated through own revenue receipts.

* Rs 2,019 crore to be spent to add 3,775 low-floor buses to DTC fleet.

* New parking facilities to be constructed at cost of Rs 473 crore.

* Rs 420 crore to be given out as pension to 3.5 lakh senior citizens.

* Growth in Gross State Domestic Product: 10%

* Contribution of the service sector to Delhi’s economy: 84%

* Per capita income: Rs 88,421 registering a real growth of 7.3% as compared to 4.9 per cent at national level
