(Express photo) National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate programmes (CUET UG) from May 15 to May 31 next year, according to the University Grants Commission (UGC).
“For the Academic year 2024-25, the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate programmes (CUET-UG) will be conducted by NTA from 15th May-31 May 2024. Results will be announced within three weeks of last test,” stated UGC chief M Jagadesh Kumar Tuesday in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
The entrance test is being held to select candidates for admission to various undergraduate courses in central universities across India.
Kumar’s tweet also stated that the entrance test for postgraduate courses will be conducted by the NTA from March 11 to March 28 next year and the results would be announced within three weeks of the last test.
He further stated that UGC’s National Eligibility Test (NET) will be held from June 10 to June 21.
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains for admissions to various engineering and technical courses will be conducted between January 24 and February 1 and the second one is to be held between April 1 and 15.
