CRPF sub-inspector shot at in R K Puram

A sub-inspector with the CRPF was shot at by unidentified assailants in R K Puram on Friday morning. Police said the inspector, who was on deputation with the Bureau of Police Research and Development, was headed to a park near police colony when two men on a motorcycle fired two shots at him and fled.

Passerbys who heard the shots rushed the sub-inspector, Vikas, to AIIMS Trauma Centre. He is critical, police said. In his statement to police, Vikas reportedly said he had strained relations with his wife. They were living separately since the last few months. Police have questioned his brother-in-law and father-in-law  in connection with the incident.
