Court allows Kalmadi’s MRI scan

A Delhi court on Saturday allowed former Commomwealth Games chairman Suresh Kalmadi to undergo an MRI brain scan on the prison medical superintendent’s advice.

A Delhi court on Saturday allowed former Commomwealth Games chairman Suresh Kalmadi to undergo an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) brain scan on the prison medical superintendent’s advice.

Special CBI Judge Talwant Singh directed Tihar Jail authorities to get the scan of 66-year-old Kalmadi done at a government hospital and table the MRI report in the court by July 21. Kalmadi was arrested for CWG-related irregularities.
