Cops called in to control scuffle at Tilak Nagar Metro station

An altercation between two individuals quickly escalated into a huge fight at West Delhi’s Tilak Nagar Metro station on Tuesday evening. According to police,the fight started when one of accused allegedly passed a comment about the other person’s wife. The two entered into an argument which escalated into a riot-like situation with many resorting to stone pelting. The police were called in to control the situation.

Confirming the incident,Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Railways) BUS Gurjar said,“We are still searching for the person who initiated the fight. Accordingly,a case would be registered. Some persons who were injured in the scuffle were taken to a hospital.”
