An unidentified woman who was about to faint in the middle of the road near Kashmere Gate on Monday found Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit stepping out to help her. Officials in the chief ministers office said Dikshit was on her way to Raj Niwas to relay the Cabinets decision to hold the Budget Session on June 15,when she spotted the woman, around 12.30 pm. She immediately asked her driver to halt and stepped out to help the woman. While she was made to sit for about five minutes and given water,Dikshit reportedly called the PCR van stationed close by and asked the police to call an ambulance and take her to the hospital. The CMs car and pilot vehicles were surrounded by a crowd that earlier thought the woman had been hit by the CMs car. Meanwhile, officers at the Kashmere Gate police station said they were not aware of any such incident.
