The owner of a placement agency in West Delhi was arrested and nine minor girls were rescued,police said on Monday. According to police,Munna Chaudhary (41),owner of Rajouri Garden-based Rajdhani Placement Agency,used to bring minor girls from Assam and West Bengal and employ them as domestic helps in Delhi. A case has been registered under the Juvenile Justice Act and the rescued girls have been sent to Nirmal Chhaya. DCP (Crime) Ashok Chand said brokers in Assam and West Bengal helped Chaudhary bring the girls to Delhi. “The brokers were paid Rs 12,000 per girl. The placement agency charged anywhere between Rs 20,000 and Rs 25,000 from the employers of the girls,” Chand said.
