Trader shot at,robbed of Rs 1 lakh
A businessman was shot at and robbed of Rs 1 lakh by unidentified persons in Rohini Sector 4 on Sunday night. The incident occurred around 10 pm when Sumit Jain (34),who runs an electronics business in the area’s Madhuban Chowk,returned home from the outlet. After parking his car near his house,Jain opened the boot of his car to take out the day’s earnings when two masked men came and tried to snatch the bag from him. One of them shot at the victim when he resisted. Jain is reportedly out of danger.

3 dead,3 injured in separate accidents
Three persons died and three others were injured in separate accidents on the BRT corridor in the last 24 hours. In the first incident,which occurred on Sunday night,a 25-year-old man was killed while his brother-in-law and two friends were injured when their Toyota Innova rammed into a road divider in Greater Kailash,Southeast Delhi. The deceased has been identified as Kanhaiya. In the second incident,a 25-year-old youth was run over by a Blueline bus in Ambedkar Nagar on Monday morning. The victim,identified as Raj Kishore,was travelling on the footboard of the vehicle when the incident occurred.
