Retired cops body found in burnt carThe body of a 62-year-old retired Delhi Police sub-Inspector was found inside his burnt car outside Japanese Park in Rohinis Prashant Vihar on Tuesday noon,the police said. The deceased has been identified as Rajkumar Chawla,who retired in 2007. A police officer said a short-circuit looked like a probable cause of the fire in the Maruti Zen. According to the police,Chawlas identity could only be established after the police checked the documents recovered from the car and the cell phone details. He was returning from a relatives house in Ghaziabad. The cars central locking might have jammed when it caught fire, said an officer.
