Cricket tourney from Oct 2

The 1st Amit Gupta Memorial (U-16) cricket tournament will start from October 2 at the Gyan Bharati School,Gargi College,Bharat Nagar and other grounds of Delhi. All the top academies and clubs are invited to participate. The matches will be of 50 overs each and 12 teams have already confirmed their participation. Interested teams may contact 9811004516.

Former DSA chief no more

Former Delhi Soccer Association (DSA) President Nawabuddin Zaheer passed away on Wednesday evening at his Qasabpura residence following a prolonged illness. He was 82 and is survived by his ailing wife. Zaheer was associated with Delhi football since 1940. The 1982 Asiad organising committee also appointed him as administrator of football discipline.
