A 45-year-old man who did odd jobs at the Delhi jal Board office in Anand Vihar was found dead inside the office premises.

45-yr-old found dead in DJB office

New Delhi: A 45-year-old man who did odd jobs at the Delhi jal Board office in Anand Vihar was found dead inside the office premises. Police said Bijender Kumar had severe head injuries and other wounds. His body was found early on Sunday morning. A case of murder has been registered against unidentified persons. “Kumar used to serve food and water to DJB staff members. His body was found at 12.50 am,” said a police officer.

“He was found near a water tap in the office. He had a blunt force injury on his head,and was bleeding profusely,” he said. Kumar’s body has been sent to the Sabzi Mandi mortuary for post-mortem examination.

Police said Kumar had come to Delhi from Kashipur in Uttar Pradesh. One of his sons works at a call centre in Noida.
