Dolly Trouble

Once Dolly Bindra made her final exit from the Bigg Boss house, the audience was relieved that they won’t be exposed to such desecration of television content. But our happiness is short-lived as Bindra is now going to make a dramatic entry on Zee TV’s Ram Milaayi Jodi as a loud Punjabi NRI character. What makes this twist interesting is the fact that she is going to be pitted against ex-Bigg Boss inmate and ‘sworn enemy’ Sara Khan. “Let’s just say I am a complete professional and know how to conduct myself on the sets no matter who co-star is,” said Khan. Are we sensing fear?

Silver Lining

Every time a contestant is eliminated from Sony’s Jhalak Dikhla Jaa,there is one thing they all look forward to — a hug from the dhak-dhak girl aka Madhuri Dixit and Munni aka Malaika Arora Khan. Unfortunately,TV’s stunt man Daya was not so lucky. Dressed like a robot and painted in silver from head to toe,he received no hugs from the lovely ladies who were worried about spoiling their dresses. After a handshake, the beefy participant, along with his dance partner, bid goodbye to one and all, more disappointed with the lack of gesture than losing.

Trouble Maker

While some people in the entertainment industry work hard to attain their set goals, others just create controversies in reality shows and make it big. Raja Chaudhary, for instance, has a way with trouble. Recently, while shooting for Zor ka Jhatka in Argentina,he noticed that the Indian National Flag was missing on the hotel terrace. A patriotic Chaudhary confronted the hotel authorities. And the tricolour was unfurled within 20 minutes. Finally, something positive has come out of Raja’s tantrums.

Growing Up

Lifestyle talk shows hosted for the youth are passe. The kid on the block, literally,is Nickelodeon’s new show titled News Views Bheja Fuse. This show will be hosted by two kids — Aditya and Adney and will talk about tackling exam stress, peer pressure and will even review films. At the pace at which the world is moving,Tuffy the dog too will have a pet-grooming show in a few years.
