Generous helpings
There is something cooking on the sets of SaReGaMaPa,and the flavour is purely Nawabi. The participants and technicians often used to complain about the food on the sets. Things have changed for better after the music composer duo Sajid-Wajid joined the show. They have made it a point to offer a generous helping of biryani to everyone present. Sajid says,“Hospitality runs in our blood.” When asked whether they are considering a serious fling food,Wajid cheekily adds,“We intend to remain composers and not get into the catering business.” However,one thing is certain. By following the footsteps of Salman Khan,who too brings biryani for everyone on the sets,the two are now part of the big heart club.

Panic attack
CHITRAPAMA Banerjee of Imagine’s Devi is no angel when it comes to playing pranks. The actress apparently hoaxed co-actor Sujata Sehgal,who it appears did not take it too well. Pretending to be from another channel,Chitrapama called Sujata up to say that she was chosen for a role and should rush for a look test. But Devi’s executive producer refused to let Sujata go until she finished her shot. When Sujata started panicking,Banerjee had to reveal the truth.

Family affair
BIG Money has made it clear that when it comes to minting money,age is no bar. Last week,the ladies special episode featured Delhi’s the Mehra family. The oldest of them was 62 years of age and the youngest 14. The three generations of ladies danced away with the host R Madhavan to Zara Zara. This team infused with all the ‘woman power’ kept climbing the ladder of big money,proving that when it comes to knowledge about Indian television,women are unbeatable.
