Chandni Chowk plan not feasible: Traders to MCD

Trader associations,resident groups and MCD officials on Friday deliberated on a proposed redevelopment plan outlined by the civic body for the Chandni Chowk area. Proposals in the Rs 400-crore plan failed to find favour with many participants. “They are talking about 15-metre-wide footpaths on both sides of the road and making the stretch one-way for most parts of the day. Both the proposals are not feasible,” Chandni Chowk Nagrik Manch Secretary Praveen Shankar Kapoor said.
