Cause confusion
As gay rights activist took to the stage,addressing the audience on the issue,certain bystanders were clueless about the reason for protest.

The day the Apex Court reversed a July 2009 Delhi High Court judgment decriminalising gay sex between consenting adults,hundreds representing the LGBT community came together at Jantar Mantar in protest. As gay rights activist took to the stage,addressing the audience on the issue,certain bystanders were clueless about the reason for protest. Trying to figure out the cause of conflict,one bystander asked the other as to why these people with rainbow flags were protesting. Replying to his friend,the latter said,Nothing,this is just a debate over FDI.
Modi-fied pepper spray <\b>
It seems the BJPs prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modis name isnt just being used to garner support for the party. Now,a pepper spray for the protection of women has been named after him. The brand has been developed by Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga of Bhagat Singh Kranti Sena whose NGOs objective is to Modi-fy the country. According to Bagga,the spray bottle will have a picture of Modi and his comment on womens security on it. Bagga says the spray will be available at half the price of other pepper sprays in the market.

When Sheila Dikshit,along with UPA president Sonia Gandhi,went to polling booth on December 4 to cast her ballot,they immediately caught medias attention. But,Sonias sister-in-law Maneka Gandhi did not get the same kind of attention. While Dikshit and Sonia Gandhi were ushered into the booth by security personnel,Maneka quietly stood in the queue. When the two came out,moments later,Sonia and Maneka barely looked at each other. A brief smile was exchanged,but there were no words.
Installation after expiry<\b>
It has been a year since 12 X-ray baggage scanning machines were bought for use at the Rohini courts complex. According to court staff,the machines sat in store rooms for over six months. Few months ago they were moved to various entry points in the court complex. However,most of them are gathering dust and are yet to be used. The caretakers passed on the blame to police stating that since they were low on security staff,many machines were yet to be inaugurated. The court staff,however,insist that such nuanced excuses were made for installing every electronic equipment in the court. It is customary to install an equipment only after its warranty expires, an employee commented.

After the Congresss poor show in the Delhi Assembly elections,a reporter who met former Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit at her residence asked her how her life had changed after she lost to AAPs Arvind Kejriwal in her constituency. She refrained from naming anyone,but said,Life is the same. You (the media) are asking me questions today. And you were doing the same thing yesterday.

Former India cricketer Shantakumaran Sreesanth who got married on Friday is learnt to have invited a few Delhi Police Special Cell officers to his wedding. Earlier this year,Sreesanth was arrested by the Special Cell officers in a spot fixing case,along with many other cricketers. Special Cell Officers joked that the spot fixing case had proved to be lucky for the three Indian cricketers who were the first to be arrested in the case. After the case broke out,another cricketer accused in the case,Ankeet Chavan,got married and was granted bail for his wedding just days after the arrest.
