Delhi thrash Jharkhand
Delhi registered a comprehensive 10-wicket victory over Jharkhand in the Cooch Behar Under-19 trophy at the St Stephen’s College ground. Delhi romped to the 30-run victory target in 8.3 overs after the visitors had folded up for 337 in their second innings. Sunny Sherawat (4/9),Rishit Saini (3/65) and Manoj Chauhan (3/47) completed the wickets tally for Delhi. With this victory,the hosts increased their tally to sevn points from two matches,pocketing a bonus point as well against Jharkhand.

Under-19 team named
The junior selection committee on Monday selected the Delhi under-19 team,for the last two matches of the Cooch Behar Trophy against Mumbai and Himachal.

Lohit stars
Lohit Sharma smashed a spectacular century (114) while Abhishek Narang (3/37) and Kunal Choudhary (3/38) took three wickets apiece as KN Colts beat Three Star Club by a slender four-run margin and bag four points in the DDCA League. Batting first KN Colts made 191,losing all their wickets before the stipulated 40 overs. In reply,Three Star Club were bowled out for 187.
In another match,Anil Bhatti’s ton (109) and Manish Adhikari’s half-century (61) helped Alpine Club beat Universal Club by 24 runs in the Super Plate stage. Mayank Bisht (2/41) bagged two wickets for the winning team.

Modern School win
n Himmat Singh and (4/11) and Sahil Garg (3/10) took seven wickets between themselves as Modren School Barakhamba Road thrashed Cambrige Foundation School by 10 wickets in the Ganga Cricket Cup. Modern School also entered the pre-quarterfinal stage of the tournament with this victory.
In what was a dramatic collapse,the Cambridge Foundation Boys folded up for a meagre 29 runs in 11 overs. Modern School raced home in seven overs.
