Delhi Junior Karate Teams won 11 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals at the 26th All India Karate championship 2010 held at Kullu Manali,Himachal Pradesh from 27th to 29th May 2010. Delhi was ranked 6th amongst the 20 states that took part in the competition.

Sandeep,Yatin shine for Telefunken
Fine knocks by Sandeep Tehlan 68 and Yatin Malik 61 and good spell of bowling by Parth Madan 5/20 and Karan Dagar 4/10 helped Telefunken beat MRV by 94 runs in the Radhika Cup under-15 cricket tournament at Najafgarh ground.

U- 16 cricket tourney from June 11
The third Gyan Prakash Memorial Under-16 Cricket Tournament will be held at Siri Fort Sports Complex Khel Gaon from 11th June to 8th July 2010.12 teams would be competing in the tournament which will be played on league basis. The inaugural match will be played between Madan Lal Academy and Ravindra Academy.

U-19 tournament from June 15
The first HL Bhati memorial under-19 cricket tournament will be starting from 15th June at Picnik Hut ground. Interested teams may contact NK Lakhotia 9811160333 latest by 10th June.

Big win for RP Academy
A fine all round display by Hemant Madan (30 runs and 4/12) and a timely 58 by Harshul Ahuja helped RP Academy beat Denesh Verma Foundation by 112 runs and get four points in the Munshi Ram Babbar memorial U-12 cricket tournament.

Brief scores: RP Academy 164 for 7 in 30 overs (Harshul Ahuja 58,Hemant Madan 30); Denesh Verma Foundation 52 all out in 23 overs (Asmeet Singh 23,Hemant Madan 4/12)

MSA win close game
Shakti Choudhry’s 123 went in vain,as Madhav Sports Academy edged out KR Cricket Academy by 25 runs to enter the semi- finals of the Sandeep Kapoor memorial cricket tournament. Batting first Madhav Sports Academy scored 305 thanks to a century by Naveen Rajput (140 runs). In response KR Cricket Academy managed 280 before being bowled out.

Man of the Match Saman Preet Singh’s all-round performance (64 & 3/30) and Rinku Bharti’s ton (101) helped Pioneer Club beat Maulana Azad Club by 48 runs in the Hot Weather U-19 cricket tournament.
