Bus from own school crushes boy to death

“Two buses from his school come to his village,but they ply on different routes. Akshay usually boards the second one because it plies on a shorter route. On Wednesday morning,the first schoolbus was speeding and the child couldn’t see it because of the curve on the road. The driver also failed to notice the boy standing on the roadside,” a police officer said.

“The bus was travelling at high speed. The driver and the principal of the school fled after the accident,” he said.

Police have launched a hunt to capture the two. The schoolbus has been impounded.

“When police went to the school,the principal was not there. A case has been lodged. The driver will be caught and brought to book,” investigation officer Kanwar Singh of Pataudi police station said.
