Three persons died and several others sustained injuries in a fire in a shoe factory in Udyog Vihar,Peeragarhi,West Delhi on Friday morning. When firemen reached the spot at 5.30 am,the factory was in flames. The blaze was brought under control by 9 am. The factory owner is yet to be traced,police said.

Man breaches IGI boundary,detained
In a major security breach at the IGI Airport on Friday,a man,reportedly inebriated,managed to jump the periphery wall to enter the airside. The incident took place at 3 pm,officials said. A domestic flight from Hyderabad had to abort touchdown at the last moment and the Air Traffic Controller had to reschedule the sequence of flight landings. The man has been identified as Arun Rai (33),a resident of Begusarai in Bihar. “He has been detained,” CISF spokesperson Rohit Katiyar said.
