A Gurgaon-based call centre employee allegedly committed suicide at his residence in Khirki Extension.

A Gurgaon-based call centre employee allegedly committed suicide at his residence in Khirki Extension. His colleagues,who had gone to his residence after he did not turn up for work for almost a week,found his decomposed body.

The police said 28-year-old Manjot Singh’s mobile was switched off,so his friends decided to go to his house. After knocking on the door for a long time,they peeped through the window and saw his body.

“We reached the spot at 7 pm on Friday and broke open the door to find his highly decomposed body hanging from the ceiling fan. The body was transferred to the AIIMS mortuary for post-mortem,” a senior police officer said.

The police found a suicide note in Singh’s shirt pocket. It read: “Nobody should be held responsible for my death. Sorry papa and mama.” Singh was unmarried and hailed from Kartarpur in Punjab. His parents have been informed about the incident,the police said. A case has been registered in Malviya Nagar police station.
