Blueline runs over man

A 33-year-old man died after being hit by a speeding Blueline bus in Dilshad Garden on Wednesday morning.

The incident occurred when the victim,Man Singh,a resident of Seemapuri,was returning home on his bike after dropping his five-year-old daughter at school. The Blueline (route no 205) hit him from behind near the Dilshad Garden Metro station at 8.30 am. Singh reportedly died on the spot.

By the time the police arrived,the public had damaged the vehicle and beaten up the helper. A case of causing death through rash driving was registered at Dilshad Garden police station. Police are searching for the absconding driver,who is yet to be identified.
