Observing it as ‘Samajik Nyay Saptah’, or Social Justice Week, the BJP will reach out to several sections of society in a daily show of organisational strength in Delhi to mark its foundation day starting Thursday.

While the Bharatiya Janata Party’s foundation day programmes are scheduled at 14,000 locations in the national capital on Thursday, daily events focussed on one interest group or the other are on its to-do list till April 14.

“Small and big foundation day programmes will be organised at about 14000 places in Delhi at the level of all district, mandal, and booth committees. Workers will collectively listen to the foundation day message of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” the BJP stated.

As part of the celebrations, BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda is scheduled to start a wall writing campaign from Bengali Market kick-starting it across the city.

The Delhi BJP’s Yuva Morcha will organise a medical camp and employment counselling camp on April 7, and on April 8, the Delhi BJP’s Scheduled Caste Front and Minority Front will jointly organise programmes to encourage self-reliance among the youth under the Aatmanirbhar Bharat Scheme.

On April 9, the party’s Kisan Morcha will conduct a public awareness campaign regarding natural farming, Yamuna cleaning and the Shri Anna or Millets scheme followed by its Mahila Morcha organising a dinner programme with women in scheduled caste-dominated areas on April 10.

On April 11, the party’s OBC Morcha will celebrate the birth anniversary of Jyotirao Phule, and the Purvanchal Morcha will set up medical camps in Purvanchal-dominated areas and carry out a cleanliness drive on April 12.

After the launch of a drive to clean water bodies and tree plantation on April 13, the week will conclude with party officials and Scheduled Caste Morcha workers celebrating the birth anniversary of Dr B R Ambedkar honouring him by cleaning his statues across the city before paying tributes at the state unit office.
