Bikers stop CWG bus,assault volunteer

About 10 to 12 bike-borne persons stopped a Commonwealth Games bus and assaulted a teenaged volunteer in the Naraina area early on Saturday morning,police said.

About 10 to 12 bike-borne persons stopped a Commonwealth Games bus and assaulted a teenaged volunteer in the Naraina area early on Saturday morning,police said.

Sources said around 3 am,a Games bus was transporting 40 to 50 teenaged volunteers to West Delhi. When the bus reached Ring Road,10 to 12 persons on six bikes reportedly stopped the bus and started misbehaving with the volunteers. “The bikers were trying to chase the bus as it was carrying girls too,” an officer said. When a volunteer,Tarun Kumar,tried to stop the bikers,they beat him up and fled.
