When Mahmood Farooqui and Danish Husain recreate the adventures of Amir Hamza,they take the audience into a fantasy land full of aiyyari (trickery) and tilism (magic). The storytellers are back with the art form,Dastangoi,and will be part of Spic Macay’s annual festival,Virasat. Titled The Sea of Eloquence,the dastan to be performed today recounts the dangers threatening Amir Hamza and how he overcomes these.
