Mimlu Sen is on a song. The 60-year-old musician and author recently saw the release of her book Baulsphere (Random House,Rs 395) and has been accompanying her partner,Paban Das Baul,and his troupe as they performed at the recently concluded Bhakti Utsav and at the multi-city launch of the book. Another celebration took place at author and Indophile William Dalrymple’s farm house. “It was fun. Among incestuous goats and loose chickens,we celebrated Mimlu’s book along with some food,wine and,of course,music,” says Dalrymple.
