Facebook used to sell smuggled liquor
With the arrest of three persons on Thursday,the Excise Department claimed to have busted a racket delivering smuggled foreign liquor in south Delhi. Altogether,294 bottles of foreign liquor and 3 cars used for home delivery were seized. The men arrested,Manoj Gupta,Ravinder Singh and Vincent Nathan,used social networking sites for business. They had formed a community on Facebook called Whisky on Wheels for home delivery,said excise officials. In Orkut,they provided telephone number and email ids for placing orders.

DJB building reservoir,pumping station
As part of its efforts to rationalise water management,the Delhi Jal Board on Thursday laid the foundation of a 4.5 lakh litre Underground Reservoir in Nariana Vihar and a 9 lakh litre Booster Pumping Station in Old Rajinder Nagar.

The DJB Vice Chairperson,Ramakant Goswami,said the reservoir will help improve water supply for about 15,000 residents of Naraina Vihar and Old Rajinder Nagar.
