PG student attempts suicide after friend refuses marriage

New Delhi:A 21-year-old post-graduation student attempted suicide by jumping from the third floor of a building in West Delhi. The incident was reported from Paschim Vihar at 10 am when the woman,Nisha,jumped off the building,police said. She was rushed to a nearby hospital and is critical,police said. Police are waiting for the girl to regain consciousness so that her statement can be recorded.

Man held for fraud counselling

NEW DELHI:Delhi Police have arrested Dr Sunil Sadashiv Kulkarni,for allegedly cheating people of more than Rs 2 crore on the pretext of promising their children a seat in the best universities in the country. Kulkarni ran a consultancy,where he claimed to offer counselling to those seeking admissions in universities,police said Kulkarnis fee depended on where his clients sought admission,police said.
