Ajit Jha questions AAP leader Agarwal’s claims

Jha said Agarwal does not mention any suggestion that Yogendra Yadav wanted to be made Haryana in-charge.

A day after AAP leader from Madhya Pradesh Alok Agarwal released a note in support of Atishi Marlena — who had said Prashant Bhushan broke off talks between the warring factions of the AAP because of his father — ousted leader Ajit Jha has written a letter countering Agarwal’s claims. Jha represented Yogendra Yadav and Bhushan in the infighting in the party, and was removed from the National Executive along with Anand Kumar, Yadav and Bhushan.

In the letter, Jha asked four questions of Agarwal, the first of which said, “In your note you have written that both sides were attempting to negotiate and try and find a solution till the end. But Kejriwal accused us of not being serious in our negotiations. Was he lying to the National Council on March 28?”

Jha also said that in Agarwal’s letter, at no point was there the suggestion that Yadav and Bhushan insisted that Kejriwal be removed as national convenor. “So when Sanjay Singh and Ashutosh conveyed this to the media, was this a lie?”

Jha also said Agarwal does not mention any suggestion that Yogendra Yadav wanted to be made Haryana in-charge.

In his last question, Jha wrote, “Is it not true that after talks, you and Prithvi Reddy went with a proposal to Kejriwal, and is it not true that there was total agreement on the suggestions made in the proposal? Is it not true that Arvind Kejriwal dismissed the proposal? Now that that you have taken the onus of speaking the truth, should you not reveal why it was rejected?”
