AC explodes in Bhajanpura house,injures 5

Five persons,including two women,were injured when an air conditioner installed at their residence in Bhajanpura,Northeast Delhi,exploded on Saturday evening,officials with the Fire department said.

“The incident occurred at the family’s residence,near the ICICI Bank in Bhajanpura,around 7.15 pm. Apparently,the compressor of their AC exploded,” a senior Delhi Fire Services (DFS) official said.

The victims were rushed to a hospital near their residence,where they were treated for minor burns.
