7-year-old falls into drain,dies

A seven-year-old boy died after falling into a drain in Central Delhi’s Ranjit Nagar area late on Friday night. “The boy,identified as Rahul Pandey,was climbing a wall outside his residence in B Block,Ranjit Nagar,around 11 pm when he lost balance and fell into the drain,” a police officer said. The child’s father works as a labourer at a nearby embroidery unit. Police are yet to register a case in the matter.
