A 34-year-old man undergoing treatment at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital for symptoms of H1N1 influenza died on Saturday,taking the toll in the disease to seven in the city.

A 34-year-old man undergoing treatment at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital for symptoms of H1N1 influenza died on Saturday,taking the toll in the disease to seven in the city.
This is the third consecutive death since Thursday.

The victim,a resident of Ghaziabad,was admitted to the hospital on September 5 with complaints of chest pain,fever and breathlessness,RML Hospital Medical Superintendent N K Chaturvedi said. He died because of delayed treatment he went to a doctor 12 days after first showing symptoms of H1N1 influenza, Chaturvedi said.
The victim was first admitted to Fortis Hospital in Noida and then shifted to RML,Chaturvedi said.
