5-year-old raped by neighbour

“The incident came to light at 9 am on Thursday. The victim,a resident of Ganesh Nagar,was playing outside her house when Kumar,who lives in a one-room rented accommodation nearby,lured her by promising a toy,” said a senior police officer.

“He took her to his room and sexually assaulted her,before fleeing.”

The victim was bruised,but “somehow managed to reach home. Her mother called the PCR,” the officer said. A case has been registered at the Mandawali police station.
