3-yr-old girl survives fall from 27th floor after getting stuck on 12th floor of Noida high-rise

The neighbours rushed to save her after which she was rushed to Sarvodaya Hospital.

The incident occurred around 12:30 pm when the child’s mother was in the kitchen.

A 3-year-old girl had a miraculous escape Friday after she fell from the 27th floor but got stuck on the balcony of the 12th floor of a high-rise residential society in Noida’s Gaur City-14, police said.

The neighbours rushed to save her after which she was rushed to Sarvodaya Hospital. “She is undergoing treatment and is now stable,” said Manoj Kumar, Station House Officer, Bisrakh.

The incident occurred around 12:30 pm when the child’s mother was in the kitchen. “The toddler was playing on the balcony of her house on the 27th floor of the building. She accidentally slipped and fell, and got stuck on the 12th floor,” said Kumar.

A purported video of the incident has also gone viral on social media where people could be seen rescuing the girl from the balcony. “We have not registered an FIR as it was an accident,”said Kumar.
