The Delhi Police questioned 10 suspects on Sunday in connection with the attacks on Saturday evening, when a biker allegedly injured using blades three women in the span of 30 minutes between 8 and 8.30 pm in Mongolpuri,Outer Delhi. The women, aged between 18 and 23 years, were slashed on the face with a sharp-edged weapon.

The incident came five days after two men — Vishal (22) and Rohit (26) — were arrested for allegedly attacking five girls with blades. The police said Vishal reportedly wanted to teach the girls a lesson for spurning his proposals.

Saturday’s victims were taken to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital; none suffered serious injuries but had marks on their right cheek. While one of the victims is a 23-year-old graduate working in SBI Credit Centre in Gurgaon, the other two are aged 18 and work in a publishing firm and a sticker factory respectively.

Chhaya Sharma,DCP (Outer) said two sets of incidents did not seem to be related — the modus operandi and weapon used were different.
