Man shot at while driving in Gurgaon

A driver was shot at while he was driving past MGF mall on the MG Road in Gurgaon early on Sunday morning.

A driver was shot at while he was driving past MGF mall on the MG Road in Gurgaon early on Sunday morning. The bullet grazed past his ear and he suffered minor injuries. Teju Mullick (29),a resident of Vasant Kunj, later filed a complaint at the DLF Phase II police station. He was driving with his friend Deepak when the incident occurred.

Mullick reportedly told the police that he was driving at high speed, when the glass of the car’s rear windscreen shattered and he was injured on the ear. As the cut was not too serious,he drove on. Later, when he realised it was a bullet wound,he filed a police complaint.

“This seems to be a case of firing with no rivalry. From the information which we have, the duo were driving very fast and narrowly missed running over a person who was crossing the road. The pedestrian’s friend shot at the car. However, they all fled the spot,” said Kailash Chand,SHO of DLF Phase II.
