US university offers ‘innovative’ courses to Indian students

US-based Indiana Purdue University ,Indianapolis is inviting students to pursue “different” courses,including motorsports engineering. This was announced by Jennifer Mathews,Assistant Director,International Recruitment,IUPUI,at a press conference held at Hotel Taj,Sector 17,on Thursday.

Mathews said the university was coming up with various innovative courses,including Bachelors in Philanthropy,for its Spring intake. Students will be given hands-on experience of working with various NGOs under the course. Stressing that the degree programme was very popular among US students,he hoped Indians,too,will enroll for the same. Other programmes at the university include degree programmes in health informatics,human-computer interaction,music therapy,organisational leadership and supervision,and fitness studies .
