Two die in road accident

Two people were killed in a head-on-collision between a motor cycle and a Swift car at Naggal,village near Barwala on Sunday afternoon. 20-year-old Sandeep,who lives in Narayangarh,was riding the motorcycle,while his 19-year-old cousin Amit of Rattewali Morni was riding pillion. The two sustained serious head injuries and were taken by residents to Panchkula General hospital. Police said both were declared brought dead.

Police said Sandeep’s sister was getting married in February and he had gone to Amit’s village to deliver the marriage invitation card. “ And on Sandeep’s return,Amit accompanied him on his bike and the duo met with the fatal accident in Naggal at around 3 pm. There was a head on collision between the bike and the speedy Swift car which was coming from Narayangarh. The car owner abandoned his vehicle and fled the spot,” police said.

Police said that they have registered a case against an unknown driver.
