Thousands thronged the Punjab International Trade Expo-2009 here on Sunday,with international pavilions from Pakistan,Egypt,Vietnam and Myanmar being the major attractions. Goods including marble made articles from Pakistan,jewellery items from Myanmar and decorations from Vietnam proved a hit.

Sidhu to give Rs 2 crore for convention centre
Amritsar:Local MP Navjot Singh Sidhu on Sunday announced to give Rs 2 crore from his MPLAD fund for the construction of a convention centre here,as announced by Deputy CM Sukhbir Singh Badal.
