CHANDIGARH: Chandigarh Police on Saturday arrested chartered accountant Varun Gupta,the mastermind in the Healthyway Immigration fraud. The special investigation team team said,Varun confessed his involvement in forging bank documents.

SIs scooter stolen with challan book

CHANDIGARH: Sub-Inspector Desh Raj Singhs scooter has been stolen along with a challan book lying in it. Singh,now posted with the Sector 39 police station,said it was stolen from Sector 37 four days ago. But it was on Friday that he lodged a complaint and got a case registered. A departmental enquiry has been ordered against the SI for negligence.
