Such a Long Day

Today’s the longest day of the year. On June 21,the North Pole will tilt as far towards the sun as it ever will in the year. Marking the day is Virgin Courtyard in Sector 7,which is hosting Virgin Solstice,an extended weekend treat (June 21 and June 22),where patrons will be served everything in extra large portions to mark the longest day. The special menu comprises a subtle play between soft and strong flavours and a selection of fine wine and signature concoctions,also in extra large quantities. The crockery has been specially designed for the day and the chef’s recommendations include Circle of Illumination,an extra large pizza and an 18-inch tall cocktail called Nature’s bounty.
