Meanwhile,Guru Nanak Public School,Sector 36,registered a narrow 26-23 win over Strawberry Fields School. For the winning team,Palak scored 16 points while Shruti bagged four points. In the boys’ league stage,New Public School outplayed Mount Carmel School 49-16 while Vivek High School completed a 40-25 win over DAV
Public School in another league match.
Earlier,riding on superb peformances by Rajkiran (8) and Jasmine (6),St Xavier’s School romped to an easy 20-8 win over hosts New Public School-18.
In another match in the same category,Strawberry Fields School beat St Kabir School 28-26. Somya garnered
eight points for the winning team while Mannat scored six points.
In another match in the boys’ category,Mount Carmel School carved out a 39-20 win over St Xavier’s
School. Pratikshit scored 11 points while Anuj garnered 10 points. For the losing team,Inderpreet collected10 points while Tanveer pocketed four points.
Also,DAV Public School edged out Saupin’s School with a 31-21 triumph.
For the winning team,Akshit scored 13 points.
