DPAC Academy to conduct cricket tourney from tomorrow
Desh Prem Azad Cricket conduct Blue Chilly Summer Cricket League from June 4 which will be played on round-robin format. Teams namely,DPA Blue,Red,Green will vie for top honours. Keeping in mind the scorching heat,academy Director,DP Azad announced that each match will have one innings in the morning and the second innings of the same match in the evening. The matches will of 40 overs. In order to choose outstanding performers for further tournaments,a selection committee headed by Munish Aggarwal has been formed. The selected players will be part of teams like Team A,Team B and Team C and take part in the local tournaments. In view of bolstering the academy coaches’ team,a qualified coach named Iqbal Singh Kooner has been roped in.

GMSSS-19 handball teams in finals
Showing their supremacy on the hnadball field,girls and boys teams of Government Model Senior Secondary School,Sector 19,outplayed their respective opponents in the semi-finals to storm in the final of 24th Chandigarh Junior State Handball Championship being held in Chandigarh. The boys team of GMSSS-19 will take on Coaching Centre GMSSS-23 in the final,while GMSSS-19 girls will face Coaching Centre-42.

Golf camp from June 7
The Chandigarh Golf Association (CGA) will hold it’s summer camp as part of its Junior Training Programme in the month of June. Stating this,CGA president J.S.
