NZ boxing championship from December 14
CHANDIGARH: The Chandigarh Amateur Boxing Association will in association with PML SD Public School,Sector 32,Chandigarh organise 17 th Senior Men and 4 th Senior Women North Zone Boxing Championship from December 14 to 16 at the PML SD Public School,Sector 32,Chandigarh boxing ring.

Tennis meet on the anvil
CHANDIGARH: The Total Tennis Academy will organise AITA Talent Series for boys and girls in the Under-12 and Under-14 category at the British International School ,Sector 70,Mohali,from January 4 to 7. The qualifying matches will be played on January 2 and 3. Interested player can send their entries to Devinder Kapoor at devinderkapoor@yahoo.com. The last date for the submission of entries is December 20.

Golf camp from December 15
CHANDIGARH: A one-month junior golf training camp for children between the age of 6 to 17 years at Chandigarh Golf Club for both their members and non-members from December 15. The participants shall be taught basic fundamentals of the game along with rules and golfing etiquette. Manjit Kochar will conduct the camp. A 4:1 student-teacher ratio shall be maintained throughout the camp for the benefit of the participants. Further queries can be made from Manjit Kochar at 981-555-4788.

EGTF junior golf camp
CHANDIGARH: A one-month long EGTF Junior Golf Coaching Programme will be conducted at the Chandigarh Golf Club from January 2 to 31 twice a week,every Saturday and Sunday,between 3pm – 4pm. This coaching programme will be open to members as well as non – members of the Chandigarh Golf Club aged between 7 – 15 years. The kids will be introduced to golf by being taught the basics of the game including posture,stance,alignment,aim,grip,chipping,pitching,bunker shots and putting. Ajay Gujral,joint director of Chandigarh Golf Club Academy and EGTF certified coach will be conducting this golf camp. Kabaddi trials tomorrow
CHANDIGARH: The Chandigarh Kabaddi Association affiliated with Amateur Kabaddi Federation of Indian and COA will conduct trials to select Chandigarh men,women and junior boys on December 12 at 3.00 pm at the kabaddi ground,Sports Complex,Sector 42,Chandigarh. The selected men and women teams will take part in the 57th Senior National Kabaddi Championship (North) which is being organised by the Chandigarh Kabaddi Association at Football Stadium,Sector 17,Chandigarh from December 18 to 20. On the other hand,junior boys team will take part in the Junior National Kabaddi Championship to be held from December 24 to 27 in Bhopal.

Cricket Under-19 trials on December 13
PANCHKULA: The Cricket Federation of Haryana and CFI will conduct under-19 trials on December13 at 11.30.am at Hansraj Public School cricket ground,Sector 6,Panchkula,to select probables for the upcoming All India Under-19 National Championship. It will take place at Hyderabad from January 12 to 15. Players born on or after 01-01-1991 are eligible to take part in the trials. Selected probables will attend a conditioning camp before final 15-member team is announced. Players should report to coach Saini at Hansraj Public School at 11.15.a.m.on December 13 along with date of birth proof.
