INIFD students present whats it like on a cruise!

The high seas may be really far from where we live but that hasnt dampened the spirits of the students at the Inter National Institute of Fashion Design (INIFD) who rolled out a star cruise at their Sector 8 institute. Titled Marvel Cruise,its part of their annual exhibition Vivid India and it truly is a visual treat. Step into the ship,in this case entrance to the campus and you are welcomed by Hawaiian dancers. Hawaii is where our ships headed and thats why the theme, spoke a student,dressed up as the Captain of the liner as we stepped foot on to the ships deck. The students of interior design have painstakingly put together beautifully designed areas like the atrium,the open deck,lobby et al keeping with the theme. Whats more,this cruise liner also packs in an Oriental Spa Lounge,a Mughal fine dining restaurant,a discotheque and casino,shopping arcade and more! Its taken the students close to a month to put it all together. From the wall panels to the furnishings to the articles,everythings hand-made by the students, mentioned centre head Namisha,as we noticed portholes dotting the walls giving you a true feel of the high seas. The INIFD Marvel Cruise will be open for view for everyone for three days – April 10 to 12 from 12 noon to 7 pm at the institutes campus in Sector 8.
