Since Friday evening, three districts of Haryana including Panchkula, Ambala and Panipat witnessed complete blackouts from 7 pm onwards. Sirsa has also been included in the list and shall observe a complete blackout Saturday onwards till further orders.
An air-strike alert has also been issued at Ambala air force station. The process of installing air-raid warning sirens across all 7,500 villages of Haryana is going on.

The state government has cancelled leaves of all the education department officers/ officials, especially posted in Sirsa, Fatehabad, Kaithal, Jind, Kurukshetra and Ambala.
The government has also issued directions to all the private as well as government hospitals to reserve 25 per cent beds to meet any exigency.
