Shiv Sena (Bal Thackray) on Tuesday announced that it would support the candidates of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) in two parliamentary constituencies of Jalandhar and Bhatinda. We had a meeting with Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal recently and submitted a charter of our demands,on which he gave us assurance of fulfilment, Vinay Jalandhari,senior vice-president (Northern India) of the party told reporters. Asked what type of demands he had put before CM,Jalandhari said the party wanted adequate compensation to the Hindus who were killed during militancy in Punjab.
